Fair Hills
Off-Road Biking and Hiking Trails

Elk Neck State Park offers 10 miles of trails within 2,200 acres of lush waterfront forest perched high on bluffs above the Chesapeake Bay. A highlight is the 2-mile trail to Turkey Point Lighthouse.

On Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Part of the coast-to-coast American Discovery Trail passes through Tuckahoe State Park, which also features the Adkins Arboretum.

 

 

Catch a bay breeze on Kent Island in the middle of the Chesapeake Bay.  The Cross Island Trail, for walkers, bikers and skaters is a six-mile route that parallels US 50 from the Terrapin Nature Park to the Chesapeake Exploration Center at Kent Narrows.  The Kent Island South Island Trail is also six miles long and begins at Matapeake State Park, parallels MD 8 and ends at Romancoke Pier.
